2004-11-24 [RabidSphinx]: Fuck you, it wasn't my diet, it was a disease called "Hyperactive Thyroidism" I had a large goiter (a swelling of a gland on my neck) and my thyroid gland was 2.5x bigger than it should have been. It was pumping me full of the hormone Thyroxin, making my metabolism speed up dramatically, causing me to lose massive amounts of weight no matter how much I ate. (I was also hungry *all* the time and would eat whole large pizzas by myself and still be hungry an hour later.) I was happy then, but then I had a heart attack and they (the doctors) took my thyroid away from me, thus making me fat.

2004-11-24 [RabidSphinx]: yes...i liked the weight i was at. do you have any idea what it's like to be 93 lbs and pretty, to being 140 lbs and a ass-ugly, in 2 months? they did radiation treatment on me to kill my thyroid. that means, without my thyroid, i can't make Thyroxin, meaning i don't have *any* metabolism at all. i gained soo much weight i tried to kill myself. i lost 10 lbs, so i am not *as* bad, but i need to be at *least* 15 lbs lighter. i have to take a synthroid (a man made hormone for my thyroid) everyday, so i can have a metabolism at all.

So, many misguided youths turn against whatever they can get their hands on. Not just youth, either. 55% of marriages end in divorce. That makes it so adults are rebellious, angsty little critters too (don't believe me? Talk to a housewife), but it is unanimously accepted that nobody ENJOYS being inferior.

2004-11-25 [Whim]: Most people have problems, but they typically deal with those problems, but then they see this different way of looking at the problem that will push them in one direction or the other. Often, music has the effect. Music can subliminally change a person. This is not a proven or studied theory, but I believe it to be true. (hehe...I need no spelling. You know who I speak of...hehe.

2004-11-25 [Whim]: If you have strong feelings for a person already, a love song can make you feel like you're a little more in love. Drinking songs make me want to go drinking even though I despise the taste of alcohol. Party songs make me want to party even though I don't much like partying. So I really do believe that a suicide song could push someone to wanting to try suicide. But yes, obviously at least just a hint of the feeling has to be there first.
